Southeast (easiest from Cap Cana). The beaches nearest Villa Espada share the same gift: a reef line close to shore that keeps the water calm and clear. Juanillo is the home beach — powder-white sand, swimmable water, and a beach club for loungers and food, all behind the Cap Cana gate so it never feels like the crowded public strip. Caleton is its quieter neighbor, a cliff-framed cove with strong snorkeling just offshore. A little farther out, Bávaro is the classic Punta Cana postcard — a long palm-lined arc of resorts — while Macao is its rugged opposite, favored by surfers and ATV tours, with small shacks grilling the day's catch.
