Yes. Villa Espada has a whole-house and outdoor Sonos sound system - speakers throughout the interior plus outdoor speakers for the pool and terraces - so you can play music across the entire estate, indoors and out. It is a feature most Cap Cana villas do not offer.
Your dedicated chef prepares breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktail snacks, and any special celebration meals. Your butler will contact you before arrival to discuss menu preferences, dietary requirements, and any special events. Food and beverage costs are billed at cost plus a 15% service charge — not included in the villa rate.
Absolutely. Villa Espada accommodates families with children of all ages. The private pool is well-suited for families. Your butler can arrange babysitters, child-friendly excursions, and in-villa children's activities. The Cap Cana Waterpark is particularly popular with younger guests.
Yes — Villa Espada is a spectacular venue for destination weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthday celebrations, anniversaries, and group events up to 22 overnight guests (larger events by arrangement). Your butler coordinates catering, decoration, entertainment, and all logistics.
No. Villa Espada does not permit pets of any kind. Please plan to leave dogs and other pets at home.
Villa Espada is offered as either a 6-bedroom or 8-bedroom rental and can accommodate up to 16 overnight guests in the 6-bedroom configuration or up to 22 in the full 8-bedroom estate. The bedroom layout includes king suites, queen rooms, and rooms with twin configurations — making it suitable for couples, golf groups, multi-generational family trips, and wedding parties. Every bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom. The property also has multiple living areas, outdoor terraces, a private pool, and ample communal space for large groups.
Yes. Villa Espada's staff — including your butler, private chef, and household team — speak both English and Spanish. From your first inquiry through your entire stay, all communication and day-to-day requests are handled comfortably in English, so there is never a language barrier during your stay.
Yes. Villa Espada has both ocean and fairway views — the elevated estate looks down Fairway 5 of Punta Espada to the Caribbean Sea. You take in the ocean view from the main terrace, the rooftop pool, and the open-air dining area. It is an ocean-view estate rather than oceanfront: the villa sits on the golf course, not the beach.
Golf at Cap Cana
As a Villa Espada guest, you access Punta Espada Golf Club at the member-guest discounted rate — a reduced green fee available only to Villa Espada renters through the villa's private arrangement with the course, significantly below the standard visitor green fee. You also have access to Las Iguanas, Cap Cana's second Nicklaus course (the back nine open now, including the oceanside holes), just 2 minutes away by golf cart. Your butler arranges all tee times. Green fees are billed at checkout — member-guest discounted rate at Punta Espada, regular rates at Las Iguanas.
Las Iguanas is Cap Cana's second Jack Nicklaus Signature course, opening in phases and about a 2-minute golf cart ride from Villa Espada. The back nine is open now, including the oceanside holes; the front nine is expected around spring 2027 (no official date announced). Guests can play the open holes, and the two Nicklaus courses together will offer 36 holes once Las Iguanas is finished.
Yes. Corales Golf Course (Tom Fazio, PGA Tour host) and La Cana Golf Club (P.B. Dye, 27 holes) at Puntacana Resort are both approximately 15 minutes from Villa Espada by car. Your private chauffeur handles the transfer and your butler arranges tee times at both courses.

Cap Cana & Activities
Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) is approximately 20 minutes by private vehicle. Your private driver will meet you in the arrivals hall with a sign. The transfer is included in your villa rate for all guests.
Cap Cana is a private, gated 30,000-acre luxury resort community on the eastern coast of the Dominican Republic. It is home to Punta Espada Golf Course, Juanillo Beach, Eden Roc Beach Club, Cap Cana Marina, Scape Park, El Dorado Water Park, the St. Regis hotel, Los Establos Equestrian Center, and dozens of world-class restaurants and bars. The community has its own 24-hour security and controlled access.
Yes — El Dorado Water Park is a standalone waterpark inside Cap Cana with slides and a lazy river. It is a separate attraction and is not included in the villa rate; your butler arranges day passes and transport. The villa's own two pools and 16-person hot tub are included.
Cap Cana is one of the safest destinations in the Caribbean. The resort operates as a 24-hour gated community with controlled access points and professional security personnel.
Peak season runs from November through April, with December through March offering the driest and most comfortable weather — temperatures around 82–88°F with gentle trade winds. This is also the most popular period for golf groups. Shoulder months (May–June and November) offer excellent weather at lower rates and easier availability. Summer (July–October) is the warmest season with occasional brief afternoon showers, but the villa and all Cap Cana amenities are fully operational year-round. Golf courses maintain championship conditions in every season.
Cap Cana offers world-class activities beyond golf. Non-golfers can enjoy Juanillo Beach (8 minutes by golf cart), El Dorado Water Park (6 minutes), Scape Park zip lines and cenotes (7 minutes), deep-sea fishing at Cap Cana Marina, horseback riding at Los Establos Equestrian Center, padel and pickleball at Los Establos Padel Club, spa treatments, snorkeling, scuba diving, catamaran sailing, and over a dozen on-site restaurants. Your butler arranges every activity.
