Every Villa Espada stay includes complimentary access to the Eden Roc Beach Club, the beach club of the Eden Roc Cap Cana hotel. Access is not available on Christmas, New Year and Easter, and other dates are subject to availability. Your butler arranges each visit, and the club is a few minutes from the villa in the two six-person golf carts that come with every stay.
This is a rare benefit few villas offer. Your group spends the day at one of Cap Cana's best-known beach clubs without booking a hotel room, then comes back to a private 6- or 8-bedroom estate on Fairway 5 of Punta Espada, with a private chef, a butler and your own pools.
Villa Espada guests can use everything at the beach club. It sits on a private, Blue Flag certified white-sand beach shaded by coconut palms, with sun loungers, umbrellas and thatched palapas along the shore and a small gazebo out on the rocky point.
Behind the beach is a large pool area with loungers and shade umbrellas. The club has a beach bar and a pool bar, and La Palapa by Eden Roc serves fresh fish and seafood right on the water, so a full beach day does not require going anywhere else.
The Eden Roc Beach Club is only a few minutes from Villa Espada. Every stay includes two six-person golf carts, so your group drives over whenever it wants. There is no taxi to call and no shuttle schedule to work around.
Cap Cana is a gated community, and the carts are the easiest way to get around it. The same carts take you to Juanillo Beach, the marina and the first tee at Punta Espada.
Tell your butler which day you want to go and how many people are going. The butler arranges the visit with the club. If you want lunch at the club or a treatment at the Eden Roc spa, the butler books that too; those are paid at Eden Roc.
Holiday stays are the exception: the beach club is not available to villa guests on Christmas, New Year and Easter. On other dates access is subject to the club's availability, so it helps to tell your butler your preferred beach days early in the stay.

Rooms at Eden Roc Cap Cana start at about $594 to $721 per night, room only. A group of 16 would need about eight rooms, which puts the hotel at roughly $4,750 or more per night before any food or drink.
At Villa Espada, the same group of 16 pays about $280 per person per night at the peak 8-bedroom rate. That includes a private chef, a butler, daily maid service, private airport transfers and two golf carts, and the Eden Roc Beach Club is part of the stay. In-villa food and drink typically runs $50 to $75 per person per day.
The villa spa is another difference. Two certified in-house masseuses are available daily at $60 per hour, per person, so a 90-minute massage is $90 per person at the villa versus about $450 per person at a resort spa.
