Court rental. Padel and pickleball courts are available for hourly rental and recurring reservations. Four courts of each sport means a large group can play at the same time.
Private lessons. The club’s coaching staff give private lessons, which is the easiest way for first-time padel players in a group to get started.
Tournaments and match play. The club runs matches and tournaments for the local padel community. In May 2025 Los Establos hosted the FIP Silver Dominican Republic, an event on the international padel tour run by the International Padel Federation (FIP).
Pro shop and restaurant. A shop on site sells sports equipment, and the club’s restaurant is there for lunch or a drink after a match.
Court time and lessons at Los Establos are an extra cost. They are paid to the club, not to Villa Espada, and they are not part of the nightly rate.
Reservations are made by the hour through the club’s Playbypoint booking page and app, or by phone at +1 (829) 944-1904. The club is cashless: every reservation is paid by card, either in the app or at the club shop. The club’s own policies are worth knowing before you book:
Court reservations cancelled less than 24 hours ahead are charged in full. Lessons are charged 12 hours before the start time, and lesson cancellations inside 12 hours are billed in full. If rain stops play, the club issues club credits.
Padel is played as doubles on an enclosed court, four players per court. With four padel courts, Los Establos can put 16 players on court at once, and the four pickleball courts can hold another 16 playing doubles. That covers the full 6-bedroom configuration at Villa Espada, which sleeps up to 16, and most of an 8-bedroom group of up to 22.
Because the courts open at 6:00 am and stay open until 11:00 pm, padel fits around a round of golf. Punta Espada is on the villa’s doorstep on Fairway 5, so a group can play golf in the morning and padel in the evening without leaving Cap Cana.
The padel club sits inside Los Establos, Cap Cana’s equestrian center, so the same trip can include riding, polo or a meal. See our Los Establos Equestrian Center guide for the riding side, and the Cap Cana map for its location relative to the villa.
Villa Espada is a 6- or 8-bedroom private estate on Fairway 5 of Punta Espada, sleeping up to 22, with a private chef, butler and two golf carts included. Los Establos Padel Club is about 2 miles away inside Cap Cana.
