Villa Espada Announces Direct-Booking Golf Trip Offering for Punta Espada Golf Groups
Direct bookings at espadavilla.com now bundle tee-time coordination at Punta Espada with the villa's included chef, butler, two golf carts, and private transportation.
What was announced
On September 1, 2026, Villa Espada announced a direct-booking golf trip offering for groups staying at the estate. Guests who book directly at espadavilla.com have their Punta Espada tee times coordinated by the villa and receive the member-guest discounted rate at Punta Espada, a reduced green fee that saves roughly $200 per golfer, per round against published guest pricing. The discounted rate applies at Punta Espada only; Las Iguanas is played at the course's regular rates.
Punta Espada, the Jack Nicklaus Signature course the villa sits on, was ranked the #1 golf course in the Caribbean and Mexico by GolfWeek for eight consecutive years and holds the #57 spot on Golf Digest's World's 100 Greatest for 2026-27. The par-72, 7,396-yard layout plays eight ocean holes on the Caribbean Sea. The villa is about three minutes by golf cart from the Punta Espada clubhouse.
The announcement also confirms what every stay includes: two complimentary six-person golf carts, a private chef, a butler who serves as villa manager, two maids, and private transportation including airport transfers. Food and beverage is billed at cost plus a 15% service charge, with no restaurant markup. The estate rents as either a 6-bedroom (up to 16 guests) or the full 8-bedroom configuration (up to 22 guests), with 9 full and 2 half bathrooms, two swimming pools, a 16-person hot tub, and a private in-house spa with two massage beds and a two-person infrared sauna.
Cap Cana's second Jack Nicklaus Signature course, Las Iguanas, has nine holes open now, including oceanside holes on the back nine; the remaining holes are not open yet. Villa Espada is about 15 to 20 minutes from the Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) gate, roughly 25 to 35 minutes door-to-door.
“A golf group wants to be close to the tee, control its own schedule, and eat well without a reservation. You roll off the course, park the cart at the villa, and the chef has dinner going. That's the trip.”— Rob Bender, owner of Villa Espada
